Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (F. W. Murnau: 1922) is the most famous vampire movie ever made and a German expressionistic masterpiece. It will be shown at the Dark Music Days in Iceland on February 3rd. The screening will be accompanied for the very first time in Iceland with new original music by Helle Solberg, performed by Geir Draugsvoll, accordion, and Mattias Rodrick, electric cello.
The film concert will be preceded by a panel dedicated to the German expressionism and the vampire myth from Max Schrek to Gary Oldman, Angel & Buffy - with participation of the composer, Helle Solberg and members of Deus ex cinema. The panel takes place in Salurinn, Kópavogur on February 3rd at 14.00. The screening starts at 17.00.
